Recently, a partner in one of the Big Four accounting firms who is familiar with our work drew the analogy that "Teamwork Dynamics cures a team's apparent 'attention deficit hyperactive disorders' through goal-oriented accountability and cohesive teamwork."  He pointed out that "It is the busy teams that don't seem to be accomplishing much that demonstrates this disorder.  Many times these teams establish 'meeting rules and processes' that result in shorter meetings, but then the number of meetings and tensions increase because nothing is still being accomplished."

We focus our consulting activities on working with the executive and senior management teams of organizations that are striving to drive changes that will improve the bottom line and valuation of their enterprises.  Our structured and time tested processes create a focused, goal-oriented, accountable and enthusiastic team-based culture.  Our processes then concentrate the team's efforts on taking advantage of opportunities and effectively dealing with the challenges they face from competitors and market forces.

We are usually engaged by an executive sponsor to work with the team for a period of three to four months.  During our engagements we address issues of focus, mutual trust, collaborative problem solving, individual commitment, personal accountability, and barrier removal.  Essentially, we assist the team leader in developing a culture that will move the team to a higher level of performance that delivers improved results into the future.  In many cases, we find that our work with the top team flows down to performing this type of project with the next tier of management teams.

The circumstances leading to our engagement may include the following:

1.  There is a newly appointed senior team leader
2.  There is newly formed project team
3.  The team is experiencing a serious dysfunction
4.  The organization is creating a culture of teamwork and personal accountability
